Gilt City is looking for a Sales intern to work with our National and Inside Sales teams. Our hope is that the intern will gain a valuable understanding of the Gilt City brand as well as the full sale process. The intern will gain experience bringing on new and exciting vendors and devloping creative ideas for sales all while having fun in a team enviornment. Responsibilities:
Research and identify new sales opportunities
Outreach to vendors via cold calling/emailing
Assisting with theme sale ideas and execution
Ownership of development of Back to School sale
Support sales team in day-to-day tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Must be able to receive school credit from an accredited college or university and provide proof of such
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cross functionally with various departments
Willingness to learn, think creatively and execute quickly
