The Gilt City Creative team is looking for photo and editorial intern with a passion for food and architectural photography as well as for writing vividly about dining, beauty, fitness, the performing arts and other urban lifestyle pursuits An understanding of internet media, social media, and e-commerce is preferred. The ideal candidate will be an efficient self-starter, able to multitask, be enthusiastic, have a willingness to learn and be proficient in Photoshop and Adobe Bridge. The ideal candidate will also have superior communication and grammar skills (and a desire to improve them in a fast-paced environment), as well a close attention to detail.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
? Assisting photo department with photo research? Light retouching
? Archiving? Metadata input
? Light fact-checking and proofreading of sale-page copy (including vouchers and fine print)
? Opportunities to write sale page copy as needed
? Administrative support for photography & editorial teams
