Shipping and Receiving Supervisor
This position is responsible for daily supervision and oversight of Stockroom functions and employees. The individual will act as the liaison to inside sales operations team assuring constant communication and priorities of shipments as well as the planning team for WIP movement. The individual will oversee and manage receiving of production and non-production items against purchase orders, issue/ ship and receive production material to/from production floor and perform necessary transactions in the company ERP system, create and train personnel, and responsible for cycle counting. They will train team members in maintaining high level of inventory accuracy and error free shipments and receipts, locally and off site.
Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:
Supervises daily work flow of stockroom employees, manage overtime and schedules as required.
Analyze cycle count results, identify problem areas and implement improvements.
Coordinate physical inventories as required
Conduct employee performance assessments and make recommendations regarding the movement of personnel.
Participate in the selection, placement and retention of highly motivated and productive personnel for stockroom area.
Support continuous improvement efforts and recommends measures to improve methods, develop standard work and ensures compliance with procedures, as well as safety rules and regulations.
Manage shipping and receiving supply usage and place purchase requisitions.
Interface with Planning and Production to establish and improve material delivery practices.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Completing Stock Room Operational Requirements: Moving employees where needed and following up on their work results
Ensuring requirements for offsite drop ship locations are met and that shipments are processed timely.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma and minimum 5 years of experience
Prior experience working with ERP systems a must.
