Description:Summary
This at-will position is responsible for leading a team of QA Engineers, supporting the software development process quality standards, methods and procedures through the use of Automated Quality Assurance Tools. This position will create and execute automated test scripts to test in-house business software that uses Salesforce.com platform and Java.
Job Duties
Essential -
?Work closely with the QA Manager to design and implement test automation standards and an automation framework, including identification and evaluation of automation technologies to improve team?s effectiveness
?Build a test automation plan for our new front office application and lead the effort to execute toward the plan
?Coach, mentor and teach Software QA Engineers how to be more capable engineers
?Direct test automation activities, including: estimating, automation test script creation, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting
?Develop an automation infrastructure to support different technologies
?Work collaboratively with software development, product managemen, and business sponsors to ensure the creation of quality products that meet customer needs
?Create and maintain automated test scripts to validate the system at various phases of the software development lifecycle (e.g., integration test suite, regression test suite, smoke test suite, etc.)
?Run test automation builds, analyze results, and report issues found
? Develop high quality test plans and test cases
? Adhere to QA process and standards
? Work closely with QA manual test team in identifying gaps in automation framework and providing solutions
? Direct supervision and development of those reporting to you

Requirements
Skills:
Essential -
? Proven ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple concurrent efforts, and quickly change priorities in a fast paced environment
? Excellent oral and written communication skills; including the ability to effectively convey issues and alternatives regardless of the audience level or circumstances, in writing or orally
? Familiar with version control/configuration management systems and defect tracking software
? Solid knowledge of software development life cycle
? Strong problem solving and excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, but able to grasp the big picture
? Strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done
? Self-directed, detail-oriented, patient, and flexible, comfortable in a changing environment
? Self-starter with the strong ability to manage multiple tasks and project milestones is required
? Takes initiative, works well unsupervised, and drives projects to completion
? Enjoys working collaboratively as a team player
? Ability to give feedback to others in a way that facilitates improvement
Non-essential -
Experience & Education:
Essential-
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
? 4+ years of professional experience with software automation tools; i.e., Selenium, TestComplete.
? 5+ years of professional experience in software testing. Experience manually testing web applications highly desired.
? Proven experience leading or supervising a team of QA Engineers or QA Analysts
? Experience with multiple platforms (Windows, Linux), web technologies (Java, JavaScript, etc), and web development technology tools (Junit, Jmeter, etc.)
? Experience in software development is a plus
? Experience with scripting languages, java script preferred
? Experience with implementing tools and process from the ground up is a plus
