Supervisor, Supply Chain - Austin, TX

Position Overview:
This position will support the Manager, Supply chain by supervising the Supply Chain Team on a daily basis as well as be a hands-on contributing member of the Team. This person will lead the Team using their technical, inventory and leadership experience to help oversee router configurations, inventory responsibilities, purchasing administration, and shipping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Router Configuration/Systems /Shipping
Configure Routers and ship them to customers
Equipment testing and trouble shooting
Systems trouble shooting, workbench, etc?
Use configuration expertise to assist other departments with resolving configuration issues
Assemble Wireless Quick Start kits as needed
Provide access for all SCM systems, tools, and resources
Oversee and support the shipping of equipment and interoffice materials
Purchasing/Inventory
Purchase equipment from MegaPath vendors for restocking of inventory basis on manager set inventory levels
Supervise weekly and monthly inventory and cycle count tasks
Monitor and manage all SCM equipment tracking logs
Supervisory Duties
Assign daily work / orders to SCM technicians
Act as the back up to Supply Chain manager for calls regarding SCM issues
Bias for solutions/results
POC for SCM order escalations, validation, requests
Ability to step in as the Acting manager (backup) when SCM manager is out of the office (Management and Purchasing responsibilities)
Ability to work with members from all departments across the company
Provide training and mentoring to SCM team members
Reports
Provide end of day escalations/replacements board for non-shipped orders
3rd party report
Handle email escalations and SCM related issues in a timely manner
Report scrubbing, consist of 13 different reports
Maintain and centralize process documentation
Additional duties as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of broadband routers and switch configurations (Cisco, Adtran, Etc)
Knowledge of T1, DSL, VPN, MPLS, Security Services and broadband services required
Effective leadership skills - Ability to lead a Team under the direction of Management
Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications
Must be organized and be able to multitask
Ability to work a flexible work schedule which may require weekends
CCNA a plus
EDUCATION:
3-5 years in Procurement/Supply chain/Routers/Router configuration
Supervisory or management experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Constant computer typing and mousing
Must be able to lift 30 lbs
ENVIRONMENT:
General warehouse environment and workbench
Fast paced; can be stressful
Ability to handle changing priorities
