We are currently seeking a Supplier Responsibility Compliance PM
DDN is looking for candidates with experience in social responsibility auditing and program management, preferably in the technology sector. The candidate will also preferably possess expertise in auditing suppliers and have a background in human resource management and/or environment, health and safety issues. This individual will have primary responsibility for contributing to DDN's Supplier Responsibility (SR) program.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Conduct SR audits of DDN?s suppliers and sub-tier suppliers
Ensure compliance with DDN Code of Conduct and other required international labor, social, health and safety, environmental regulations and/or standards
Manage auditing processes, including audit schedules, on-site audits w/ third-party auditors, etc.
Manage any pre-audit activities and awareness training with suppliers to ensure awareness of the SR audits
Monitor suppliers? corrective action plans and follow through verification audits in order to close out corrective action plans in a timely matter
Policy & Standard Development
Enhance and evolve SR program to drive measurable improvements on process efficiency and effectiveness
Policy analysis and support to compliance specific code and standard related issues
Contribute to the ongoing development of compliance related policies, procedures, initiatives and best practices
Conduct benchmark to align DDN?s Code of Conduct and standards to industry code
Collect, maintain and present data relevant to SR performance of DDN suppliers
Program & Project Management
Manage multiple projects, including communication and project planning process
Identify compliance project timeframes, milestones, stakeholders and resources
Escalate and resolve any non-compliance issues resulting from SR audits
Manage focused investigations for core violation cases and follow through remediation programs in partnership w/ third party firms
Develop and maintain relationships with internal business functions and the third party vendors to support the SR compliance programs
Communicate compliance programs and progress internally, as well as build strategic external relationships
Partner with internal business partners such as Program Management, Training & Development, etc., providing information as needed
Educate DDN personnel in SR program, practices and standards
Manage external resources or consultants as required
Qualifications for this role are:
6+ years prior full-time relevant work experience in social responsibility audits, environmental management, and/or supplier responsibility, preferably with a large corporation and/or consulting firm
Minimum BA/BS degree, with understanding and/or educational background in Corporate Social Responsibility
Significant experience with factory operations, auditing, and remediation
Previous experience in conducting and/or coordinating social compliance verification audits
Solid project management and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through deadlines/projects simultaneously under minimal supervision
Experience in data analysis to effectively and accurately track data and information
Knowledge of applicable national and international regulatory requirements and industry standards related to social responsibility
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with little direction
Strong Problem solving/analytical skills
Positive attitude and team focus
Exceptional business communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Experience or knowledge of technology sector desired
Sensitive to cultural differences in country/region of coverage
Builds rapport with all kinds of people inside and outside the organization
Working knowledge of a second language beneficial
Ability to travel
