As one of our global supply chain specialists you will travel the world from your home base and visit our client sites:
Collaborating with our Global 500 and Fortune 1000 client partners on world-class business process assessments and design projectsfrom demand and supply planning to warehousing and transportation
Leading Tier 1/Tier 2 software implementations, upgrades, and customizations
Developing and delivering customized education and training programs, establishing new levels of excellence for existing employees and raising the baseline standard of knowledge for new hires
Helping business leaders justify investment/growth strategies (and drive buy-in) by performing software-package selection and validation studies
Establishing industry best practices and developing new tools for key business processes like sales and operations planning (S&OP) and network optimization
General Requirements:
Deep background in supply chain management (SCM) and supply chain execution (SCE) business processes, in addition to hands-on experience configuring software technologies to support strategic goals across various functional settings.
Ability to develop and deliver customized end-user training on SCM/SCE applications is a plus.
Prefer a working knowledge of implementation methodologies, project planning, and management of client expectations and deliverables.
Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree is a plus.
Although you will not be required to relocate, you must be willing to travel. Our consultants typically travel to work at a client site Monday through Thursday, then work from home on Fridays. There are occasional opportunities to work on billable assignments from home.
Application Skills:
We seek candidates who have extensive experience in at least one module within a particular technology, chiefly among these leading applications:
SAP APO/SCM: Hands-on experience implementing and/or upgrading the following SAP SCM modules: DP, SNP, GATP, PP/DS, or TP/VS. Solid background in BW and the core R/3 modules should include: MM, PP, SD, QM, WM. Experience in Flexible Planning is also a plus.
Manugistics: Hands-on experience implementing and/or upgrading the following modules: NetWORKS Demand, Fulfillment, Master Planning, Strategy, Supply, Collaborate, and Transportation.
Logility: Hands-on experience implementing and/or upgrading the following modules: DP, IP, RP, SP, and MP.
Oracle: Hands-on experience implementing and/or upgrading the following modules: iProcurement, iSupplier, Supply Chain, Inventory, ASCP. Demantra experience is also a plus.
