DSI is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the supply chain strategic planning and development to meet the global needs of our customers. This person working with his or her team will drive the development and implementation of best practices to achieve efficient material flow and supply chain productivity, ensure plans are developed and executed to deepen supplier relationships, improve supplier performance and inventory turns while meeting our delivery performance. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing Operations.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and previous hands on experience in materials planning, MRP and experience in implementing supply chain best practices. Past experience or knowledge in purchasing is expected for deepening supplier relationships and in developing supply agreements. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge and past application of lean manufacturing principles, have the ability to lead and form teams to develop execution plans in support of the strategy. Logistics and import/export knowledge or experience will be a benefit.
