We leverage skills and tools in the supply chain to provide creative, efficient, productive solutions. The Supply Chain organization aligns with the high standards of manufacturing and enabling delivery of needed results at the right time for our customers. These roles not only provide valuable solutions for the multiple steps in manufacturing but also provide the essential troubleshooting and support to optimize results for our customers.
Product Supply Planning Organization: Performs tactical product planning activities to ensure fulfillment of customer delivery requests and Freescale revenue goals. Collaborates with the Customer Supply Organization team to ensure timely satisfaction of the order backlog. Collaborates with the Market Business Groups (MBGs) to execute lead time and inventory strategies.
Capital & Capacity Solutions: This organization is responsible for resolving capacity through planning, analysis, and coordination with internal and external manufacturing sites. Collaborates with the Market Business Groups (MBGs), Manufacturing, and Manufacturing Strategy on the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Process.
Customer Supply Organization: This organization communicates and collaborates directly with Freescale customers and sales. Leads efforts to increase customer loyalty and value through supply chain excellence. Coordinates order management for Freescale.
Business Systems: This function is responsible for the underlying Supply Chain Systems architecture and tools used in demand and supply planning as well as in Manufacturing. More specifically, the team has the mandate to create, sustain, support and enhance production systems in line with current and future Supply Chain best practices. Other responsibilities include the delivery of value-add Supply Chain Analytics solutions that empower teams with reduced complexity and improved productivity through Freescale Master Data Quality/Governance processes.
Business Operations and Process Improvement: This organization supports the strategy of world class supply chain through Lean continuous improvement methods. Including, sustaining, supporting and enhancing organizational processes. Delivering talent development solutions to enhance our supply chain capability. Managing Supply Chain compliance, quality and business continuity planning. Drive robust governance and operational business management practices and supports organizational operations requirements.
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, or Industrial Engineering, with a GPA of 3.25 or higher
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently
Ability to collaborate well with a multi-location workforce
Highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Six Sigma or Lean training or experience a plus
Prior internships or co-ops in supply chain preferred
