Job Description:
The ideal candidate will plan purchases from raw materials suppliers to support manufacturing schedules, with the main objective of maintaining inventory control through ERP system. Essential tasks in this role include: Initiating purchase orders, receiving purchased materials and performing all ERP transactions in an ERP environment. Person will be fully responsible for maintaining accurate inventory to meet Accounting and Manufacturing needs.
The successful candidate must have experience as an ERP user. The candidate will also assist the Supply Chain Manager and Purchasing Manager with forecasting for all purchasing activities, work well in cross-functional teams (QA, QC, Manufacturing and Finance) and support and maintain GMP documentation standards.
Requirements:
? BA/BS in Business or related field
? 2-5 years of experience in a GMP warehouse/materials role preferred
? Experience using ERP systems, preferably Oracle
? Working knowledge of ISO 13485:2003 and GMP?s
? Understanding of basic principles for buying, contract manufacturing, supplier relations, material planning and inventory management
? Ability to exercise proper judgment related to business decisions
? Strong organizational skills, detail oriented
? Effective verbal and written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
? Knowledge of influencing and negotiating skills
? Ability to interface well with cross-functional teammates
? PC skills, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
? Ability to evaluate data inputs and create meaningful analysis
