DescriptionGeneral Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Planner works as a liaison between the various groups at Evenflo and is responsible for inventory control and production planning for Evenflo internally and externally at our suppliers. The supply chain Planner is responsible to provide accurate information on inventory and to provide input at forecast meetings. This role is responsible to manage new SKU launches and to work with the engineers to coordinate start and testing dates. The Supply Chain Planner acts as the conduit for suppliers, interacting with them on a daily basis to manage capacities and manage exceptions or problems.
Examples of Typical Activities
Run planning reports and confirm that there are no shortages
Place POs and order supplies
Create ad hoc reports or processes to address issues
Manage SKUs and inventory targets
Expedite Requests
Attend forecast meetings
During new product launch ? balance the right amount of inventory
Required Experience
BS Degree preferred
