Supply Chain Planner Avid Radiopharmaceuticals
Reports To: Senior Manager, Supply ChainDescription:
?Create and maintain an inventory tracking tool that accounts for production forecasts and usage, supplier lead-times, product expiries, and stock levels.
?Create and communicate inventory reports in a timely manner.
?Identify potential risks and critical supply levels and proactively manage inventory
?Manage relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturing organizations
?Identify alternative suppliers of reagents and components
?Negotiate supplier agreements and proposals
?Participate in root cause problem solving discussions of defective or unacceptable components, with key manufacturing and QC personnel, suppliers and to ensure timely corrective actions are completed
?Track and analyze manufacturing performance with respect to supply and quality agreements and additional quality metrics
?Assist in managing Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to ensure the just-in-time supply of commercial and clinical radiopharmaceutical drug product
?Assist in the expansion of radiopharmaceutical drug product capacity at CMO manufacturing sites
?Ensure CMO compliance with Avid manufacturing and testing procedures and specifications.
Requirements:
?BS in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences or relevant discipline
?At least 3 years of experience in commercial pharmaceutical supply and/or manufacturing.
?Procurement and/or planning experience specifically related to product/ supply management
processes at a manufacturing site.
?Knowledge of supply chain structure of clinical and commercial products highly desired.
?Knowledge of cGMP drug substance/drug product manufacturing and quality control desired.
?Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional environment
?Ability to work independently in a highly focused manner
?Impeccable organizational skills
?Ability to prioritize multiple issues in projects with competing priorities
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal interaction skills.
?Excellent computer systems skills (e.g. Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Access)
?APICS certification desirable.
