Description:
This Supply Chain Specialist will support and manage tactical and day-to-day coordination of the following functional areas: outsourced contract manufacturing, Order management and Inventory Management Role duties include coordination of all fulfillment operations and associated compliance, implementations of operational efficiency initiatives while maintaining/exceeding budget targets, process improvements and other duties that are primary determinants of overall supply chain performance
Duties:
Manages, plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials. Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures and implement solutions. Ensures that materials in the supply chain are available as scheduled and inventory is maintained at minimum acceptable levels.
Receives customer purchase orders and reviews them for completeness and accuracy which includes product configuration and verifying terms and prices according to contracts. Makes direct contact with customers to resolve any order related issues.
Qualifications:
Degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering is a plus
Minimum 3-5 years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Good understanding of manufacturing, scheduling, planning and inventory control with knowledge of ERP systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skils, team oriented
Abilities to manage complexity and manage multiple priorities
