Job Qualifications (basic job description):
The Supply Chain Sub-Contracts Specialist is the key link between Aurora and strategic suppliers to ensure the performance of long-term agreements to support fulfillment of Customer's demand. This role will support Supply Chain Management (SCM) as assigned by Director of SCM, in managing supplier agreements and sub-contractors related to all Pre-Production and Production programs as well as Commercial program requirements.
Prepare/review agreements for suppliers, subcontractors & other vendors to include: NDAs, teaming agreements, contracts, subcontracts, consulting agreements, term conditions, etc.
Responsible for cradle-to-grave subcontracting which may include, but not be limited to RFP review and comment as well as subcontract and contract closeout preparation.
Assist in external/internal audits as required.
Enforce change management processes with all suppliers.
Prepare RFPs for subcontractors/vendors/suppliers as required coordinate flow down provisions with contracts and purchasing.
Assist the Director of SCM in developing new policies and procedures as required.
Minimum Requirements (education and experience):
Bachelor's degree is required business administration, supply chain management or contracts unless candidate has acceptable level of comparable experience.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience involving contract and subcontract administration/management is required.
Working knowledge of FARS/DFARS, USC and other procurement regulations is required.
Working knowledge of Deltek, Infor Visual ERP, MS Office.
Experience with international, export regulations and managing and asserting intellectual property rights is desired.
Active Clearance or an ability to obtain one.
Effective use of ERP and MS Office.
Must be a US Citizen.
