Revolution Foods is offering a unique opportunity for an accomplished CPG Food Operations leader to join our team and implement the introduction of this explosive brand across multiple distribution channels. We will launch ready-to-eat meals (fresh/chilled and over time expanding into Frozen) nationwide at a rapid pace in multiple channels, including: Mass, Drug, Retail Food Service, Grocery, Club, Natural & Specialty Grocery and E-Commerce, among others. We are seeking an accomplished executive with significant and deep food industry supply chain and operations experience to support the launch and growth of our branded product line across multiple channels and to create and grow a talented supply chain & operations team. This role will also play a key role in building the supply chain and operations functional teams to support a rapid sales trajectory of our product line. This is a key leadership role within the company reporting directly to the GM of CPG Food while collaborating with functional partners in Finance, Marketing, and Sales and our Schools team to deliver objectives.
Reports To: Executive VP/General Manager CPG.
Peers: CPG Sales VP, CPG Brand Marketing Director, CPG R&D VP (currently consultant), Schools Business.
Supervises: Core team comprising one Supply Chain planner, one Quality Manager and one Procurement Business Partner.

Key Responsibilities
Leads the Supply Chain function accountable for manufacturing and distribution of all CPG products sold by Revolution Foods. The position directs, leads, and is accountable for all Contract Manufacturing sourcing for CPG business.
Accountable for all aspects of CPG Supply Chain and ensures business objectives are met. This includes ensuring continuity of supply, improving margins, contract manufacturing network and delivering quality, cost and food safety objectives for all CPG products.
Accountable for identification and implementation of margin improvement /LEAN practices with co-manufacturing partners. COGS savings initiatives include but not limited to: product reformulation, scrap reduction, throughput increases, raw and packaging reduction, labor minimization, engineering, in sourcing, strategic partnerships, etc.
Accountable for implementing the supply chain deliverables for innovation and business expansion projects within financial and delivery targets.
Responsible to maintain 3 year capacity outlook to meet tactical demand and future growth. Identifies and executes mechanisms to resolve capacity issues.
Develops strategies, conducts negotiations, contract creation and renewals, cost savings and operational performance for co-manufacturer and co-packer partners.
Partners closely with Sales and Marketing functions to develop the short and medium term demand and supply plans to meet inventory, cost, cash flow and customer service objectives.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
BS or BA degree/equivalent in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related analytical field required.
Thorough understanding of Supply Chain within refrigerated fresh packaged foods with proven knowledge and experience in RQT, procurement, operations, engineering, safety, quality, food safety, manufacturing, and logistics.
Proven ability to consistently complete key deliverables on time and within budget. Ability to execute supply chain programs and projects of varying scale.
Minimum of 8-10 years of management experience. Professional Skills and Competencies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and operate within new/undefined areas.
Incumbent is required to work in conditions in which there are extended work schedules, multiple, conflicting and changing priorities, and specific time constraints.

Principal Duties
Strategic leadership of all aspects relating to CPG Supply Chain including proactively addressing obstacles within the functions and influencing others in the organization. This includes the development of a rolling 3 year co-manufacturing network strategy and will include expansion to new categories, investing in manufacturing capacity if appropriate or longer term alliances with key suppliers.
Accountable to ensure the day-to-day activities of raw and pack materials sourcing, quality, food safety, demand planning, distribution and inventory management are performed to standard timelines, quality, and cost.
Develops strategy to meet cost targets and improve gross margin through challenging product design and cost structures, working constructively with R&D, Marketing, and Procurement to make tradeoffs as applicable, and initiating and delivering COGS reduction projects.
Partners with Sales, Marketing, Schools Business Supply Chain and Schools Business Operations team to ensure synergies and effective integration between the two supply chains.
Supports development and implementation of quality, food safety, and environmental processes and policies.
Communicates critical issues and implements risk mitigation regarding sensitive sourced ingredients, allergens, environmental sustainability, etc.
Engaged in both tactical and strategic capacity planning in order to deliver market demand. Identify and implement capacity mechanisms to eliminate capacity constraints. Analyzes service level for the CPG business, identifies issues, and communicates corrective action needed to appropriate internal and external partners.
Projects service level risks and opportunities and participates in regular business planning meetings to align business actions in this regard.
Ensures operational support and execution for implementation of innovation and business expansion plans. Participates in cross functional innovation teams.
Proactively manages all relationships that impact CPG inventory levels and inventory budget and ensures continuous improvement initiatives.
Leads Co-Man/Co-pack strategy development and execution to optimize overall manufacturing network .
Accountable for Relationship management with CEOs and Owners of contract manufacturers.
Directs, develops and implements sourcing strategies for contract manufacturing including contract manufacturing negotiations and contract development/renewals ensuring adherence to legal and accounting requirements. Contracts to be constructed to optimize value for Revolution Foods and minimize risk.
Primary accountability for operational performance management for Co-Man/Co-Pack plants. Must ensure external manufacturers meet agreed upon performance metrics and resolve business issues in effective and timely manner.
Ensures adherence to all standard Supply Chain work processes including LEAN program. Drives root cause analysis and optimization within the team.
