What you?ll do
As a Supply Planner-Temp, you will be responsible for the planning and inventory management of their product code and parts in their product codes for North America. The planner?s primary responsibility is to manage inventory by part to maximize fill rate while minimizing days of supply. The planner is also expected to develop and meet the monthly inventory budgets by product code and facilitate the reduction of excess inventory. The planner works closely with purchasing to manage their inventory. The product planner is ultimately responsible for the key metrics of DOS, Fill Rate and Forecast Variance for their product codes along with Net Sales in North America.
How you?ll do it
Develop ?buy quantities? at the part level based on forecasts current inventory and safety stock position along with other market related factors.
Prioritize inventory management activities utilizing and ABCDN ranking of parts
Actively manage exceptions of ?over? and ?under?
Participate in developing product code level forecasts in conjunction with Product Management, Purchasing and Supply Planning Manager
Manage total inventory at the product code level to product code budgets by month
Report on an manage down ?excess inventory? in conjunction with Sales, Product Management, and Purchasing
What you?ll need
BA/BS degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of planning or inventory management experience
Strong analytical skills
Exceptional computer literacy including proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
