Role & Responsibilities:In partnership with the University of Southern California, 2U has launched a high quality and innovative Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program delivered online. The mission of the USC School of Social Work is to prepare competent and knowledgeable social work practitioners who can provide leadership in complex and culturally diverse urban settings in regional, national and global contexts.
The Research Assistant will be responsible for researching appropriate Social Service organizations for potential internship sites. The research process consists of initial web research, data entry into contact management system (Salesforce), assignment of tasks to Regional Coordinators and initial outreach calls. Each researcher will research and outreach to 20-40 agencies per student, to ensure students receive the highest quality ?match?.
Responsibilities Include:
Research and initial outreach Social Service agencies
Creation of agency and contact records in SF and assignment of follow-up tasks
Identify and pre-qualify field instructors and sites (MSW on staff, 50% direct practice)
Communication with Regional Coordinators
Complete administrative
tasks and projects
General Attributes:
Highly organized individual able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at one time
Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change
Strong web research skills
Professional phone and web research skills required
Salesforce experience a plus
Social Work/clinical experience a plus
