The Support Engineer will be responsible for working with the Client Services and Features teams to support implementations, run shell scripts, troubleshoot errors and determine root cause. The Support Engineer will also be responsible for reporting and creating defect tickets as well as help troubleshoot issues with configurations and updating the database utilizing MySQL.
About the Opportunity
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years experience with advanced SQL / RDBMS querying , knowledge of MySQL, Oracle, or other common RDBMS, Unix navigation, shell scripting, log parsing and knowledge of the web. This is a highly critical role that requires a self starter who can work independently and with a team.
About You
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preference will be given to candidate who possess the following technical skill set:
Java, JBoss (or other java application server like Tomcat, GlassFish, Websphere, WebLogic, etc)
JSF, Richfaces, Facelets, Seam, JQuery, Hibernate, iText, ICE PDF
