We are currently seeking a Support Services Application Specialist to join our growing team of professionals in Mesa, AZ. Travel may be required. Job Summary:
The Support Services Application Specialist provides software expertise with Edupoint?s web based student information system to Edupoint?s staff and K-12 client school district personnel. This involves responding to technical support issues, assuring product quality through test and documentation activities, providing implementation services, supporting development efforts and assisting in marketing and sales activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Acquire and maintain expert knowledge of Edupoint?s products and an understanding of customer and market needs related to Edupoint?s products.
Act as a subject matter expert and product liaison for Edupoint?s products.
Provide prompt, accurate and knowledgeable support to CRC Specialists and Edupoint?s customers by responding to, researching, troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving highly complex technical questions received via telephone calls, e-mails and through the customer portal.
Communicate software bugs, installation problems and/or necessary software modifications to Development using the incident tracking system.
Assist other CRC Specialists with the resolution of complex issues and serve as a mentor to them.
Establish positive client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Expert level skills with Edupoint?s products.
Knowledge of how K-12 school districts do business.
Extraordinary customer service skills with the ability to go beyond the client?s expectations.
Proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, incident tracking systems.
Ability to quickly learn new software and applications.
Exceptional analytical skills and ability to utilize creative problem solving techniques.
Excellent business/technical verbal and written communication skills; must communicate in a clear and professional manner during telephone calls, e-mail communications and with peers.
Ability to convey complex information so non-technical individuals can understand.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ability to multi-task in a fluid environment.
Positive attitude, self-motivated, enthusiastic, goal oriented, able to focus on details, diligent.
Ability to construct and execute SQL Statements and experience with software testing and software design specification are plusses.
Understanding of relational databases.
