3E Company in Canton, OH is seeking to hire a Support Services Technician.
Provide technical application development and quality assurance effort in the completion of basic project tasks as described on project request work orders
Provide basic troubleshooting, problem correction, assistance and instruction to client staff remotely to resolve software problems or to generally support the client?s use of the MSDgen software. Determine client needs; recommend and implement solutions to ensure minimum delay and effective operation for system users.
Develop, maintain and update technical documentation such as system configurations, procedures, problem fixes, and client support procedures under the direction of more experience staff.
Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Associates Degree or Certificate in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
1+ years of related experience in an information technology position preferred
Working knowledge of SQL language, PowerBuilder, RDBMS in general and either MS Sql Server or Oracle
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; superior customer service skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team; excellent time management and organizational skills
