Survey Programmer Factor TG
The Survey Programmer is responsible for ensuring high quality programming of custom online surveys, survey invitations, advertising tracking and sampling tags and QA support to other developers, among other tasks. The person selected to fill this position will have an important impact on the Technical Operations team and SymphonyAM on daily basis. Responsibilities
Learn and understand SymphonyAM proprietary application
Program custom online surveys
Build custom research logic using JavaScript, DHML and other Web tools
Review text/doc versions of questionnaires to ensure logic, formatting and grammar are correct
Set up and initiate the technical aspects of follow-up email campaigns
Understand research study goals, develop Javascript research tag schema to deliver structured research data, resolve any tagging design issues with client and Account Management, generate Javascript tags
Advise client ad trafficking staff on research tag implementation
Work with customers on special requirements
Support research and sales on technical issues
Research Control maintenance
Qualifications
3+ years of client-side web development experience including JavaScript, DHTML, HTML, CSS
3+ years' experience with major browsers and clear understanding of browser content rendering, DOM, browser cookies
Experience with browser debug tools
Internet advertisement experience is a plus
Ability to creatively problem solve different issues that come up due to client/site and technological restrictions
Strong computer skills, including experience with software applications such as Homesite, Excel and Word
Prefer clear understanding of how the Internet works on the client side, protocols, DNS, etc.
Prefer experience with ad serving systems like Doubleclick, Atlas, Yahoo
Mobile Web content experience is a plus
Strong organization and quality assurance skills are a must, as are excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and quality of work and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines on time are required. You must also possess strategic thinking ability and a results-oriented focus in a fast-paced environment, and be a team player with good interpersonal skills.
