About the Job
We are looking for an experienced, product-savvy Senior Vice President for Business Development to drive our partner activities and revenue. Reporting to our CEO, the ideal candidate will combine startup creativity, resourcefulness and speed with a proven track record of execution in the digital world.
About the Responsibilities
--Lead partner development team, reporting to CEO
--Identify, develop and close deals (personally and leading your team)
--Deepen existing partner relationships and ensure consumer conversion/engagement through partner channels
--Work with CEO and COO to set partner development goals and targets and build a plan to achieve those goals
--Develop financial models for strategic initiatives, potential business development and partnership opportunities
--Work closely with the product and marketing teams on partner integrations and partner marketing
--Perform analysis on trends and competitive dynamics
--Build and track execution for success against a robust partnership pipeline
--Represent the company at conferences and speaking engagements
--Lead recruitment and hiring for your team
--7+ years business development experience in the mobile, internet or consumer technology
--Bachelor's degree from a leading university required; MBA preferred
--Proven ability to sell a new product or concept into a new and dynamic market
--Proven track record in leading a BD team to achieve explosive user and revenue growth
--Possess a strong network of senior industry contacts
--Outstanding teamwork, organizational and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail
--Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment
--Exceptionally comfortable with ambiguity and decision-making in the absence of perfect information
--Strong management, organization and presentation skills a given
