SVP, Sales and Marketing/CCO Putney
Reports to: CEO
Location: Portland, ME
Lead Putney sales and marketing activities to deliver annual and 5 year revenue goals by growing existing product sales and launching new pet generic drugs as the Company?s pipeline is approved by FDA?s Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM).
Build on and motivate the existing team of 30+ sales and marketing team members, including veterinary services and customer service, to achieve revenue growth and profitability with service that exceeds customer expectations.
Reporting to the CEO, the SVP will lead Putney?s Commercial activities. He/she will thrive on time in the field in order to understand the channel and provide strategic direction for Putney?s Sales and Marketing. The SVP and team will work closely with Regulatory Policy, Tech Ops, Finance and BD/Portfolio, as well as coordinating with R&D and Quality.
Candidates with experience in human generics or specialty pharma, human pharma wholesaling and distribution or animal health are encouraged to apply. Putney is looking for strategic, smart commercial leaders with 10+ years of experience who enjoy face to face selling and deal making, have demonstrated competencies in coaching and motivating teams to exceed goals, love challenges and are aligned with Putney?s culture. Position is based in Portland, Maine and involves domestic travel.
