Job Overview:
This position will design, implement, engineer, execute, track, diagnose, troubleshoot and document configuration management projects. A CM Engineer III is capable of identifying redundant process and able to coordinate with management and senior engineers to build automated and efficient CM infrastructure within Test/Dev and Production environments for Concur application services in a cloud computing environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee & engineer a change reporting and product configuration management system, including source code control and communication of CM environment infrastructure changes.
Liaise and provide support plus instruction to development, QA and Ops engineering teams about R&D & Operations configuration management tools and methods.
Engineer branching, merging, building and cm infrastructure enhancements of the Concur Application code bases and solutions.
Demonstrated experience in Windows & Unix systems management, diagnostics, scripting and configuration along with MS SQL Server and MySQL.
Monitor and respond to rapid build engineering process across several toolsets.
Provide training and support to R&D teams on source code environment and procedures.
Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
Position Requirements
Education, Experience & Training required:
5+ years of product build and configuration management engineering experience.
4+ years experience with source code repository systems preferred (Subversion and CVS)
4+ years experience setting up and monitoring application servers required.
Familiarity and ability to work with Windows, Unix, CMD shell scripting languages + MS SQL/MySQL.
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Demonstrable knowledge of several programming or scripting languages eg: Ant, Perl, MAKE, PowerShell, batch etc? ability to migrate or interoperate from or 2 languages to another.
Ability to pass a security background check.
