Position Overview:
Core Performance is expanding their team of highly qualified and knowledgeable Performance Specialist field experts to support our growth both domestic and internationally. The SWAT Team Performance Specialist profile is a seasoned Coach/Wellness Trainer/business minded Strength & Conditioning Expert/Industry Educator that will assist with launching new programs, pilots, implementations and supporting and educating the field as needed. The position may require travel to client locations world-wide to launch pilot programs and new implementations that may last anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months. This position would be based out of a Core Performance office/center supporting current client programming between travel engagements. A successful candidate in this role will quickly become an ambassador for the Core Performance brand and have the opportunity to be exposed to many clients and varied experiences.
What does a SWAT Team Performance Specialist do?
Responsible for presenting Core Performance (CP) methodology to external clients and CP field staff.
Instructs, motivates, and assists clients in a safe, legal, moral, ethical manner to achieve their wellness goals.
Conducts on-site assessments of employees? health utilizing our proprietary evaluative protocols. May include (Functional Movement Screening, VO2 testing, Body composition, etc).
Plans and prepares documented performance enhancement programs, with support from our proprietary myCorePerformance programming.
Updates training plans and/ or reevaluates clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.Maintains constant communication with clients to ensure goals and expectations are being met.
Helps to gather and organize collective knowledge from the field, develop training content and provide product leadership.
Functions as both a team member and a leader in time-compressed, highly dynamic, and potentially ambiguous client situations.
Interviews qualified and assists in the hiring full-time staff members to ensure continuity and excellence over the long-term duration of the client engagement.
Works in partnership with the Core Performance field, operations, sales team and external client teams.
Partners with the employer to conduct various engagement and educational activities and events, such as; Lunch & Learns, Information Fairs, visibility tables, Campus activities, trials training sessions, trial group exercise classes, trial evaluation sessions, mini-wellness consultations, etc.
Maintains strong communication with the Product Innovation Team (PIT), provide feedback from the field to assist with product improvements helps drive product development.
Reports various metrics to operations, such as attendance, engagement, activity levels, member results.
Performs all aspects of position held in a professional manner.
The SWAT Team Performance Specialist will follow established policies and procedures of the company.
Participate in program planning and development, and will design and/or carry out related research.
Maintains professional credentials as required including attending necessary continuing education courses.

Road Warrior ? probably on the road 70% of the time!
BA/BS Kinesiology or Sports Science required (Masters preferred)
ATC preferred but not required
Currently hold industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM
