JOB POSITION: System Administrator-Cloud Computing

JOB LOCATION: Greenville, SC

JOB SUMMARY: The Infor Cloud team is looking for software and system professionals to help build and deploy software services into private and public cloud. Installs, configures, and maintains cloud application deployment infrastructure, as appropriate; provides on-call support for computer/network systems as required. Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network and cloud system technologies, architectures, and products. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work closely with cloud architects to develop, plan and implement application deployments to private and public clouds
* Drive technical innovation and efficiency in cloud infrastructure operations via automation
* Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and complex problem resolution on escalated issues while monitoring and maintaining application environment stability
* Work effectively with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and identify and resolve technical design issues

REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Technology or technical degree and/or certifications
* Experience with automation using Python (or similar dynamic languages) and shell scripting
* Experience deploying and operating Linux or other UNIX variants in a datacenter environment
* Ability to work as part of a team in building, administering and deploying automated systems and application deployments
* Knowledge and experience in supporting and troubleshooting networking services and protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, LDAP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, SSL, and HTTP
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in documenting and teaching installation and configuration processes

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: * Expertise with Amazon EC2 supporting a production application deployment
* Understanding of AWS technologies
* Red Hat Certified System Administrator or equivalent certification
* MSCE: Server Infrastructure certification
* Experience with automation on Windows servers using PowerShell
* Experience implementing and supporting enterprise system monitoring tools
* Experience deploying or managing servers in large-scale, geographically diverse environments
* Experience in a Devops environment
