To help us achieve our strategic business goals, we are currently looking for a System Administrator to join our organisation.
With a global presence and a proven success rate of delivering technology solutions to support our client's business, we need to employ top talent to support our key business functions. Our System Administrators support the business by ensuring continuous availability of IT services within our client environments.
As a System Administrator at Dimension Data, your key function will be identifying system requirements, installing upgrades and monitoring system performance for low to medium complexity systems.
What we will expect you to do:
In this capacity we will need you to deliver on the following:
We need you to install, configure and upgrade servers in line with policy and system requirements.
You will need to install, configure and upgrade new and existing application software, ensuring its availability to users.
We rely on you to create new users and configure and reset passwords.

Qualifications
Here's what we are looking for in candidates for this job:
Key requirements:
A matric certificate or IP/TCP/MCSE certification.
Up to 2 years relevant experience.
Key abilities required:
You need to be self-motivated and have good problem solving ability.
You need to display a good level of planning and organising skills.
You will need to possess good communication skills (both verbally and written) and employ these skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
Non-negotiable for us:
You need to stay current with trends in the Information Technology environment to ensure excellent client service.
You are a team player and contribute to the success of the teams within Dimension Data.
