System Administrator Intalio

Job Description

Intalio has an immediate opening for a talented System and Database Administrator to support large-scale systems deployed at customer sites and ensure that applications are available and performing flawlessly at all times. The System Administrator works onsite at the customer's location, and is supported by a dedicated Enterprise Cloud Expert.
Job Responsibilities

- Establish the needs of users and monitor user access and security
- Monitor performance to provide fast query responses to end users
- Continuously adapt the architecture design to meet customer requirements
- Install, test, and configure new versions of Intalio's hardware and software products
- Maintain data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act
- Control access permissions and privileges
- Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery plans
- Ensure storage, archiving, backup, and recovery procedures function correctly
- Work closely with Intalio Project Managers and Intalio Engineering
- Commission and install new applications
- Identify and resolve hardware and software issues
- Be available 24x7 for critical support escalation
- Willingness to travel up to 100

Job Requirements

- Experience in large-scale Linux environments
- Experience working in high-volume, TB-sized MySQL and PostgreSQL environment
- Firewall/security experience
- Solid networking experience
- J2EE Application Servers experience
- Virtualization experience (VMWare preferably)
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Japanase for Japan positions.
