Design, develop and implement new or enhanced software and hardware systems that support strategic initiatives for systems that deliver content to users
Integrate complex distributed systems that include software applications, database applications, web communications and security software and hardware
Develop communication strategies and organizes ongoing dialogues with target audiences to ensure technical and architectural plans are deployed and related objectives are met
Implement activities that impact the critical directions of the organization
Interact with internal and external peers and management to develop unprecedented solutions that affect several departments
?Evangelize? new ideas / technologies / solutions to gain acceptance from a wide range of audiences.
Guide and mentor a wide range of resources
You have the following qualifications:
Recognized internally and externally as an expert in systems architecture, programming languages, systems and environments that are critical to the organization
Successfully meets objectives that require the use of innovation
Proven ability to operate within the context of high level strategic, critical and complex objectives
Experience in developing center-wide content delivery systems
Past experience in LAMP type administration
10 or more years of progressively complex related experience
Technical Expertise in: Linux Administration / Optimization, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Ruby, Amazon Web Services, Virtualization/Cloud Infrastructure, High Availability Systems, Disaster Recovery, Database Administration/Optimization, Data Warehousing / ETL, LAMP, NoSQL, MongoDB, Routing/Networking Architecture, Security
