System Engineer 7signal
This young, fast-growing wireless networking company is looking for key System Engineers to team with Sales Directors in the following regions:
Southeast U.S. (Atlanta, Florida, Nashville)
Northeast U.S. (Boston, New York, New Jersey)
Western U.S. (California)
The SEs will:
Be responsible for managing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. With a proven track record of successful sales support activity, the System Engineer will present and articulate the capabilities and values of a 7signal solution.
Work with 7signal Sales Directors to qualify opportunities and convert leads into successful engagements.
Proactively support an opportunity pipeline and put in the face time to drive through the sales process to closure.
Manage technical account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in assigned territory.
Provide network design proposals to partners and customers.
Drive customer evaluations to a successful conclusions
Participate in the development of the proposal and presentation of the solution to prospective customers.
Provide specific solutions/product/technical and sales support to build technical champion relationships in accounts in assigned territory.
Manage technical resources at vendor partners to help drive business and deliver demand generation events.
Drive technical account relationships over time to continue to deliver advice to the customer and identify additional opportunities.
Desired Skills and Experience
The preferred candidate:
Will have deep experience with networking infrastructure, Wi-Fi / WLAN technologies, and performance monitoring arenas.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Is a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of Wi-Fi / WLAN networking; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
Has a minimum 5 years of infrastructure engineering and some experience with successful post-sales support is preferred.
Have strong oral & written communication, organizational, presentation, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
Must be customer focused and have the ability to design and manage solutions to complex technical issues.
Has a good network of industry technical decision makers and partners.
