Position Overview
Operative is looking for smart, energetic and technically strong System Engineers. You will have the opportunity to learn about the digital advertising domain and make a significant contribution to customer success and adoption of the Operative.One platform.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced / dynamic team environment
Job Responsibilities
Support operations of SAAS-focused system infrastructure including servers, networking components and data center facilities
Act as point of escalation for Product Support staff
Interact with Development Engineering to isolate bugs and improve stability of future releases
Be able to work independently in complex environments toward high-level goals
Develop monitoring solutions to ensure that any unexpected issues are promptly identified and escalated
Develop, deploy and manage Disaster Recovery solutions
Simulate customer problems to facilitate problem resolution
Identify repetitive support issues and possible workarounds
Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to provide 24 x 7 support
Other responsibilities as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in a technical field or equivalent training/experience.
Logical approach to troubleshooting
Expert working knowledge in at least two of the following areas:
Linux
SAN subsystems
Networking technologies
Backup / disaster recovery solutions
Working knowledge in the following areas:
SQL databases (MySQL/MSSQL/Oracle)
Windows servers
Monitoring solutions such as Zabbix, Nagios, Cacti, etc
Effective time management
Strong written, oral and visual communication skills
Experience
2+ years supporting systems and networking infrastructure in a mission-critical environment
Project management experience with infrastructure deployment
3Par SAN experience desirable
Ad Serving or web analytic experience desirable
