DescriptionSummary
Will be responsible for the implementation and development of interfaces to various customer applications. Includes system analysis, programming, testing and documenting the interface. Some travel to the customer site for programming and meetings should be expected.
Minimum Requirements
Education
oBS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience, or Characteristics
o3 years of system integration or engineering inclusive of programming, systems analysis and interface design/implementation of client/server applications.
oStrong Relational database knowledge, experience in Ruby and Perl.
Helpful / Preferred
oExperience in C, C++, Visual Basic, Mainframe, AS400, Linux.
Functions and Responsibilities (?in addition to other duties as assigned)
1.Designs and implements interfaces with customer equipment by analyzing requirements, providing solutions, testing new and existing applications and designing software scripts.
2.Participates in the development of automation solutions.
3.Provides problem solving technical expertise in design, development, testing and deployment of business applications.
4.Creates and maintains documentation of development efforts, including development code and testing results.
5.Provides training during startup phase and for customer and support personnel of product.
6.Works closely with Project Manager to ensure project delivery dates meet installation timeframe.
7.Resolves logical and procedural issues that arise in development cycle.
8.Understands and follows internal processes and procedures, and suggests improvements or issues
9.With stated policy and procedures, inclusive of technical standards.
10.Communicates effectively with customers, vendors, members of the team.
11.Keeps apprised of new developments in the technology field; applies new technologies to improve products and services.
