The System Integration Engineer will be responsible for overall administration, troubleshooting, software maintenance and configuration management of the Conversion Lab environment. This person will manage incoming requests, log them as tickets and resource the request to completion or hand-off in an appropriate manner.Summary

Role & Responsibilities
Assist and guide external and internal customers through the conversion process to convert their source data to the Vertafore system
Perform customer welcome calls to review conversion project timeline and expectation
Provide assistance and direction to clients to obtain data extractions
Develop, test, and deploy customized conversion T-SQL scripts
Assist and direct customers in performing code translations
Perform quality assurance on all converted data for accuracy
Check project management timelines daily to keep track of all relevant tasks and deadlines
Research/diagnose problems for prompt resolution to time sensitive issues
Document all discussions, issues and solutions to problems involving the customer in the customer relationship management system
Maintain client satisfaction throughout conversion process
Consistent communication with Implementation team
Act as data conversion Subject Matter Expert
Perform pre-sale project scoping calls with clients discussing conversion processes
Ensure work and/or decisions are made in a timely manner according to committed schedules
Aggressively work to meet department goals and objectives
Qualifications & Position Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in engineering, math, computer science or related field
Undergraduate degree in engineering, math, computer science or related field required
5+years of programming and reporting using transact SQL
2+years of Crystal Reporting or SSRS development
2-4 years customer service experience
1-2 years insurance agency experience
Requires weekend and after-hours availability for client support and assistance.
Knowledge of databases, datasets and data structures is a requirement
