System Manufacturing Test Engineer Tilera
This is a great opportunity to join Tilera, a growing late stage startup company, as a System Manufacturing Test Engineer. We design a portfolio of Intelligent Application Adapter system-level products which enable OEMs to execute heterogeneous computing in their current big data systems using the high-performance, power-efficient and scalable Tilera?s TILE-Gx processors, including a 72 core processor that has just been proven by the Embedded Microprocessor Benchmark Consortium (EEMBC) to outperform every singleprocessor on the market.
Our System Diagnostic Software Test Engineer will initially be responsible for all Systems Operations Manufacturing Board Test Kit (BTK) support at Tilera and our Contract Manufacturers. This includes operations support for BTK-based testing on systems and system-level chip test as well as Extended System Test.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to excel in a high-energy, small, focused team environment, drive solutions from rough requirements, and have a commitment to high product quality. Challenges of the position include:
Managing Tilera Operations System Test Programs
Producing and maintaining Manufacturing focused BTK programs and EST tests for all production system/board level and chip level products
Creating the tests and infrastructure to supply contract manufacturers with production diagnostics.
Interfacing with Contract Manufacturers and production test engineers to resolve issues.
Assisting in failure analysis by developing targeted test code to isolate failures.
Developing Extending System Test error capture and processing.
Helping define test result database and develop analysis tools for engineering and manufacturing reports.
5+ years working in the areas System or Board Manufacturing Test Development
Experience working with diagnostics for module-level isolation a big plus
Ability to program in Python or PERL, TK, TCL (C or C++ is a highly desired)
Working experience with MySQL, MS AX, Omnify, Linux desirable
Experience creating GUI?s desireable, not required
Able to read and understand electronic schematics desirable, not required
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience with the following is highly desirable:
o High-performance computing, GPUs, DDR (memory), USB, I2C, SMBUS, ENET (Ethernet), PHYs, MDIO, Multicore microprocessors, PCIE, IPMI architecture, BMC (baseboard management controller).
