System Quality Engineer Enlighted
Job DescriptionEnlighted, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated and talented quality engineer to drive product quality and to be the voice of our customers during product development. You will be responsible for devising test strategies and mixing manual and automated testing to provide the highest quality products in our field. The successful candidate will be able to take input from the field, product management, and engineering to come up with practical, effective approaches to testing our hardware and software systems.
Responsibilities:
Define test strategies and approaches for releases and features
Define requirements for test automation infrastructure
Build a robust suite of automated test cases
Use manual testing where automation is illsuited.
Increase product quality release over release
Champion our processes and best practices
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
Strong software design skills balancing practicality, performance, and maintainability
Strong analytical and conceptualization skills
Experience testing embedded systems or other hardware/software combinations
Passionate about working in a startup environment
Excellent team player with great verbal and written communication skills
Test automation experience with Python or equivalent language
Light administration or systems programming experience with Linux
Plus:
Understanding of energy management systems
C, C++, and/or Java experience
Experience with hardware and/or electrical systems
Mechanical aptitude (building fixtures, jigs, etc.)
