Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate comes with excellent knowledge and interest of test software development for wireless and RF technologies, a strong background in system test and test software development.
Position reports into a newly created Manufacturing Technology Group at LitePoint.
This group provides all of the technical test, diagnostic, and debug solutions required for effective product launch, build, and sustaining processes.
Group develops module and system level test and manufacturing hardware and software solutions.
Gets involved in early R&D phase to capture required knowledge while helping new product development.
Develops module and system level test strategies and develops test software that provides effective functional and parametric verification within new product release time lines.
Develop requirements, test, monitor, and drive corrections for test software improvements during the product design cycle.
Work with development engineering and production floor personnel to resolve test and production issues.
Requires total comfort and sound engineering analytics in resolving system, module, and component level issues independently,
Recommend and drive required design, test, and process changes to enhance product performance.
Develops effective feedback mechanism within LitePoint community to ensure proactive improvements.
Required Experience:
The successful candidate will have:
3-5 years of module and system test software development experience with a focus on wireless products.
Strong knowledge of test equipment capabilities, test methods, and test design.
Excellent data analysis and reporting capabilities required.
Connectivity and Cellular test system knowledge is highly desirable.
Connectivity and Cellular application knowledge is highly desirable.
Able to spot, lead, and drive opportunities to closure.
A team player with tactful communication skills.
A persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in working with detective nature of activities.
Education Requirements:
Minimum BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, MSEE preferred.
