The ideal candidate comes with excellent knowledge and interest in test software development for wireless and RF technologies, a background in system test and test software development.
The department provides all of the technical test, diagnostic, and debug solutions required for effective product launch, build, and sustaining processes.
The department develops module and system level test and manufacturing hardware and software solutions and develops test software that provides effective functional and parametric verification within new product release time lines.
The group is involved in the early R&D phase to capture required knowledge while helping new product development.
In this role you will :
Develop requirements, test, monitor, and drive corrections for test software improvements during the product design cycle.
Work with development engineering and production floor personnel to resolve test and production issues.
Resolve system, module, and component level issues independently.
Recommend and drive required design, test, and process changes to enhance product performance.
Develop effective feedback mechanism within LitePoint community to ensure proactive improvements.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
The successful candidate will have the following:
2-4 years of module and system test software development experience with a focus on wireless or other hardware products.
C#/.NET programming skills. C /C++ is plus
Any knowledge of test equipment capabilities, test methods, and test design is a plus
Excellent data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Connectivity or Cellular test system knowledge is a plus.
Connectivity or Cellular application knowledge is also highly desirable.
Ability to spot, lead, and drive opportunities to closure.
Be a team player with tactful communication skills.
A persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in working with detective nature of activities.
Education Requirements:
Minimum BS Degree in the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
