Responsibilities:The candidate will be responsible for the system validation testing of a next generation telecom product. The position requires 5 to 8 years of experience in system validation testing or system engineering for telecom transmission products in SONET, DWDM and Ethernet transport. The individual will own test cycle planning, test case preparation and test case execution. Experience with ROADMs and OTN based systems is needed. Strong system knowledge and understanding of standards like GR-253-CORE and ITU-T G.709 is a must. The individual should have experience with working with Network Management Systems.
Education:
BSEE/CS or equivalent experience
