Zuberance is seeking for an experienced System Administrator / Dev Ops professional with proven experience in building, maintaining, optimizing and reliability of infrastructure.
Are you a highly-motivated self-starter, who thrives in a start-up environment with the ability to tackle challenging problems on tight schedule?
The System Administrator / Dev Ops position will be responsible for managing a Linux based infrastructure for the running of Java based web applications while providing support to a 24X7 production environment by acting as the first response to system issues. Will need to lead, build, and manage Colo setup by installing LAN and related hardware as well as the configuration management system to design/build-out/deployments based on chef or puppet. Manage and expand monitoring tools to ensure rapid detection and resolution of production issues. Play the lead role in capacity planning and hardware acquisition decisions. Must keep the production environment secure and will be responsible for daily operations, storage, back-up disaster recovery. This position will serve as the release master during software rollouts.
Requirements:
5+ years of -NIX system administration experience
Proficiency in scripting language (Perl, python, or Ruby) and shell scripting
Familiarity with Java Deployments
Great communication and teamwork skills
Bachelors degree in CS or equivalent
MongoDB experience a plus
