Systems Administrator Xoom
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We are looking for an experienced Windows administrator to manage Xoom's internal help desk, applications and systems.
You are the one who will add a new user to the network, provide that user with a configured desktop/laptop, phone, email account etc. and provide ongoing support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide hands on Windows and Mac desktop & laptop support.
Install, configure and troubleshoots desktop systems and servers.
Windows Active Directory support and administration.
Troubleshoot network and server problems.
Maintain department & user computer images.
Maintain anti-virus, security and patch management software.
Manage and provide support for mobile devices.
Manage and support directory services 'AD, LDAP, DNS and DHCP'.
Support and manage VOIP systems.
Maintain hardware and software inventories.
4+ years Windows 2003/2008, AD, LDAP, DNS, Exchange and MS Office experience.
Experience with Windows & Apple desktop operating systems (Windows 7 & OS X)
Experience with PC & Mac desktop hardware.
Experience supporting remote employees and offices.
Experience supporting business software and systems 'PeopleSoft, etc.
Experience managing VOIP systems in a 24/7 environment.
Experience maintaining IT inventory
Good communication and customer services skills with a positive attitude.
Weekly 24x7 On-call support required.
Desire to learn new skills.
Apple Certified Macintosh Technician preferred.
Any Microsoft certification/s is a big plus.
Any Linux and Apple administration is a plus.
Willingness to work off-hour schedules as needed.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
