This position provides Tier 1 and 2 Systems/Network support for our Sherman Oaks, CA office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following is a list of general job responsibilities for the Systems Administrator position. This list is not all-inclusive and may be broadened or changed to meet changing business needs.
Daily maintenance and upkeep of all servers and clients in the office
Planning & documentation of network growth
System upgrades & server builds
Tier 1 and 2 support for end users
Application installation & license management
Oversees data back-up procedures
Voice and data network growth planning & maintenance
File sharing, security & storage management
Print queue management
Manage vendors and projects
Video System SAN maintenance
At least 3-5 years of experience in client and server software and hardware management, technical analysis and problem-solving with excellent network troubleshooting and management skills
Required Skills and Abilities
3-5 years of experience supporting Apple Macs OS X in the Enterprise
2-3 years of experience in Windows Server setup & maintenance
1-2 years of experience in customer/user support
Excellent work ethic, initiative, self motivation, and ability to work independently
Windows 2008/12 Server (Active Directory, Domain Controller, etc)
Apple hardware devices (iPhone/iPad setup)
Virtual Private Networks & Data encryption
Network Security ? Firewall, Virus protection, Malware
SCSI & RAID configurations
VOIP & Wireless technologies
TCP/IP Protocol experience (DHCP, DNS, Etc)
Ethernet & Fiber networking
Strong desire and aptitude to learn new technologies
Enjoys a fast paced changing environment
Enjoys providing excellent customer service
Enjoys a positive and fun environment
Final Cut Server
Levels Beyond/Reach Engine
Adobe Streaming Applications
Quantum SAN/meta data servers
Cisco IOS, Routing and routable protocols
