As a Systems Administrator, you will work with our Infrastructure team to build and maintain a reliable, scalable, and high-performance platform internally and in the cloud. Leverage your expertise to implement new systems, provide ongoing support, and drive improvements in the systems infrastructure. You'll troubleshoot and remediate issues with our servers, storage, network, datacenter, and cloud infrastructure.
Work with the Infrastructure agile team in daily scrums
Leverage your expertise to implement new systems, provide ongoing support, and drive improvements in the systems infrastructure
Troubleshoot and remediate issues with our servers, storage, network, datacenter, and cloud infrastructure
Participate in our push toward Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
Push the envelope with technologies like Puppet, Cassandra, Hadoop, and Amazon?s AWS / EC2 cloud
Learn from a great team and help mentor others
Skills and Qualifications
Curiosity and a positive attitude
A track record of getting stuff done
5+ years working in Active Directory
Task automation with PowerShell scripting and SVN
Automating server deployments and lifecycle management
3+ years working with Windows server operating systems
3+ years experience with Linux (RedHat Enterprise and Ubuntu)
3+ years working with VMware ESX/ESXi and/or other virtualization technologies
Mission-critical enterprise monitoring (e.g. Firescope, Big Brother, Nagios, LogicMonitor, Keynote)
Working within an agile team is a plus
NetApp experience would be great
Any relevant industry certifications will help: UCP, RHCSA, RHCE, CCNA, etc.
