Systems Analysts collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and document requirements and enhancements for our growing portfolio of web-based applications. In this role you'll essentially serve as a translator between non-technical clients and our internal Product Development team. A combination of business acumen, technical chops, and the ability to think on your feet is crucial for the position.
Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to gather, analyze and document information needs and functional requirements for our growing portfolio of Internet-based software applications
Translate business requirements in support of solution design and configuration
Prepare functional designs of product customizations and features
Project planning/execution: balance stakeholder expectations regarding the project scope/components, priorities, schedule, and manage risk to these components
Assist in determining quality standards, monitoring results, and implementing quality improvements
Operate in a results-oriented manner to achieve projects goals, with a standard of excellence
Provide input for the direction of product design and usability
Produce and conduct internal training sessions on new product features and modules
BS in Computer Science or equivalent major with strong academic performance
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Outstanding oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work with various stakeholders at all levels within and outside the company
Basic understanding of Relational Databases, the Software Development Life Cycle and the design of modern, web based User Interfaces
Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks
Ability to provide and receive constructive criticism while maintaining positive relationship with other team members
