SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Systems Engineer who will focus on Active Directory infrastructure in a fast-growing SaaS environement. An ideal candidate will be an extremely proficient Systems Engineer with intricate knowledge and experience with Active Directory within a high transaction web server environments leveraging Windows, VMware and SAN storage technologies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, implementation and support of Active Directory Domain infrastructure including DNS/WINS, DHCP, Group Policy, Replication and Security.
Design, implementation and support of Windows Clustering, Terminal Services and PKI.
Hands-on daily maintenance of all servers performing proactive tasks to ensure 99.9% uptime.
Manage and maintain enterprise wide systems monitoring solutions including notification and response.
Plan, develop, and execute infrastructure procedures, processes, and security initiatives to ensure PCI-DSS Certification.
Implement processes, tools, and procedures for data center infrastructure management.
Communicate with third party hardware and software vendors and consultants.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years of experience as Systems Administrator and/or Systems Engineer.
4+ years of expert level systems administration of Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, IIS, DNS, DHCP. Microsoft MCTS/MCITP certifications a plus.
Expert experience using PowerShell scripting required.
Extensive design and administration of VMware ESX in a business critical production environment.
Experience managing and supporting muti-tiered HA/Clustered applications and databases, including Microsoft SQL and VMware.
Experience managing and supporting complex Fiber Channel/iSCSI SAN and/or NAS environments. Experience with EMC and/or NetApp and utilizing Brocade and/or Cisco MDS Fabric switches desired.
Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting enterprise level systems monitoring applications in a 24/7/365 global mission critical environment. (i.e. System Center, Nagios, Splunk, etc.)
In depth experience analyzing and diagnosing application level performance and latency problems in a large scale, production SaaS environment.
Solid network and systems troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis experience required, including experience with internet security, encryption, and TCP/IP.
Cisco certifications (i.e. CCNA) and strong background in networking (routers, switches, firewalls, IPS/IDS, and load balancers) a plus.
Highly organized self-starter who has a strong ability to manage multiple tasks utilizing effective time management skills.
Must be a team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.
