We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer - Cloud Content & Rich Media - Northwest United States, Seattle WA
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Pre-sales activity in the designated area, supporting Cloud Content and Media.
Assist in closing new business opportunities by gaining a thorough technical and business understanding of clients' needs and helping Sales qualify, identify, and close new opportunities.
Understand the Cloud Content and Media sales process and how to utilize company resources to close accounts.
Participate in customer-focused seminars, tradeshows, events, presentations, technology roadmap reviews and training.
Provide RFP responses, technical drawings, presentations, and recommendations.
Acquire and maintain a thorough technical and procedural understanding of DDN Sales cycles, products/services and a thorough technical understanding of like industries.
Develop a substantial knowledge of the company's SAN appliances product line.
Develop innovative solutions to customers' business needs.
Participate in on-call pager rotation (24x7).
Qualifications for this role are:
5-7 Years experience required.
Must have 10+ years of experience in selling storage, with strong technical expertise, including deep industry knowledge and contacts.
This position will be field based and involve travel of approximately 30%-40%.
A successful sales engineer will be expected to drive business through their own, previously established relationships.
Must have experience negotiating large transactions personally and been instrumental in closing those deals.
A BA or BS (in a related field) is required.
