DescriptionThe Systems Engineer is responsible for provisioning, configuration, operation and maintenance of iPipeline infrastructure and systems. These include highly available systems delivering a high performance SaaS application as well as parallel environments for development, QA and UAT. The individual participates in research and development of technologies that can be used to enhance operational effectiveness and improve overall availability and performance. Create new, or make enhancements to current policies, procedures and standards. Automate administrative functions such as patch management, backup and recovery processes.

Strong working knowledge of Windows Server Products Including 2008-R2 and IIS
Experience with Windows clustering and HA configurations
Strong working knowledge of Active Directory
Strong working knowledge of VMWare
Experience with VMWare Site Recovery Manager highly desired.
Experience with HP 3PAR SAN and C7000 enclosures highly desired
Experience with storage arrays and SANs.
Knowledge of current computer security practices and network protocols.
Experience with F5 loadbalancers highly desired.
Responsible for the Windows server environment including virtualization (VMware)
Monitor systems to ensure maximum performance and suggest and perform system improvements as needed
Support patch management, malware protection and backup products
Liaise with internal team members, various other groups and external customers and vendors
Creation of documentation Support of internal Intranet site including FAQ?s and management.
Create and maintain IT Support policies and procedures
Plan and conduct DR tests.
Participate in on-call rotation.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor?s degree ?In Computer Sciences or related field desired.
Minimum 3 years related experience required.
