Description:FNC, Inc. seeks a systems engineer to work as part of a team responsible for supporting highly available components to ensure performance, availability, security and stability of the windows systems, security investigations, system audits, and analysis on all incidents. The candidate must work well independently and within a team, have excellent communication skills, demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows. Responsibilities include deploying, configuring, and tuning of Windows 2003 and Windows Server 2008 servers; troubleshooting, reacting to service outages, service updates, security concerns and other issues.
Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
? Strong experience and skills in Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Active Directory.
? Design, deploy and administer Windows 2003/2008 server infrastructure & monitoring systems in a large, 24x7 environment.
? Administering Microsoft IIS 6.0/7.0 including applications deployment and security in a network load balanced environment.
? Experience in computer hardware (servers, desktops and laptops) assembly required.
? Strong written/verbal communication, critical thinking and problem solving or troubleshooting skills.
? Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.
? On call is required
Minimum Qualifications
? 5 years + Windows 2008 system administration experience
? MS Active Directory
? MS Exchange
? Extensive experience managing internet mail routing systems
Desired Qualifications
? Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Microsoft Certified Professional
? Ability to write administrative scripts (WMI, SQL, VBS, Shell, Perl)
? DNS
? DHCP
? Netbackup
? Avaya or other phone system (Digital and IP)
? Ironport or other email filtering system
? Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking
? Great Plains experience
Work requires the physical demands of standing, bending, lifting, stooping or performing other work requiring light physical exertion (up to 30 pounds) on an occasional basis (up to 15% of time) and frequent walking; or moderate physical exertion (up to 50 pounds) on an intermittent basis (not a routine part of the job).
