We are looking for a systems engineer with a strong interest in the design of systems for processing big data.As an integral part of our core development team, the ideal candidate will have a depth of knowledge and expertise with systems design and concepts critical to the creation of big data processing. In this position, you will be working with our systems supporting the processing, storage and retrieval of Terabytes of new data every day. If you are motivated by a challenge and interested in solving hard problems, we want you.
What you?ll be doing:
Design of systems that handle the processing of very large data sets
Support of production services, applications and platform components that make up a sophisticated big data system
Work closely with others in an interactive development environment
Design of automation of application deployment mechanisms
Design, implement and manage continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts and systems
What we?re looking for:
BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
Linux system experience
Solid coding skills with object-oriented scripting languages
Understanding of TCP/IP, queueing technologies, server load balancing
Experience with NoSQL technologies is a plus
