Systems Engineer Edgewater Networks

Provide pre and post sales support for Edgewater products. Post sales support includes installation, upgrades and onsite troubleshooting if required. Work as an integral part of the sales team to understand the business and technical challenges faced by customers and apply Edgewater products appropriately. Create application notes, design documents and provide feedback regarding feature requests and solutions that consistenly improve the competitive positioning of Edgewater products.

Requires at least 5 years of directly relevant experience working with telecommunications, security or networking products. Must be very technical and have an in-depth knowledge of routing, security, QoS, VPNs and VoIP components such as gateways, endpoints and softswitches. Must have hands on experience installing routers, switches, firewalls and VoIP equipment. Excellent presentation, written and and verbal communication skills required. Must be familiar with LAN environments and posses a strong understanding of operating systems including Windows and Linux/Unix.
