Responsibilities:
The Systems Engineer role supports customers who use Compusearch?s PRISM Platform, a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf business software application system. The ideal candidate is proficient in multiple technical disciplines, including Microsoft IIS, Oracle PL/SQL, and ASP.NET technologies. Duties include providing both telephone-based and onsite support to clients and working with development staff to resolve issues.
Compusearch Systems Engineer will:
Talk to and work with end-users of Compusearch?s PRISM platform as a ?problem solver? for the company
Research, resolve and respond to questions and problems relating to PRISM Platform installation, upgrades, software issues, custom interfaces, and general usage
Document customer information and detailed problem descriptions, diagnosis, and resolution in a call-tracking software program
Work on special projects as directed by the manager
Experience, Skills/Abilities, and Education:
2+ years of technical support experience
o Strong analytical skills with talent for problem-solving
2+ years of Oracle PL/SQL
Knowledge of Oracle Database Administration is a plus
Must be able to learn quickly
Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing with teammates, management, developers and clients
Ability to drive challenging technical problems to resolution while also keeping clients and staff up-to-date on progress along the way
Works both independently and as part of a team, including excellent organization and time management skills
Commute to local client sites (DC, VA, MD) as needed, as well as occasional long distance travel
College degree or equivalent work experience
Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates will need to be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time, communicate orally and in writing, and be able to travel to and work in multiple locations.

Applicants may need to be the subject of a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
